Support Update

You guys are amazing!! We have had a tremendous week, with financial support coming in almost every day! We are currently sitting at 84% of pledged donations for the 2 years. Can you believe it!! Gods word says "If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you." John 15:7 We have been praying this whole time that we would be fully funded before we go and we are getting closer! God has been showing us in more ways then just financial ways that he is with us and he will provide for us. If you would like to help us get to that 100% you can give online here... https://www.cscshelter.org/give  Remember it is a tax deductible donation as well!! Be sure to put "Jake and Pam Schulz" in the comments/designation box. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for blessing us so we can be a blessing to the children in the Philippines!

Unexpected Blessings

We have had a few unexpected blessings happen recently. We are so amazed by the beautiful things that keep on happening as our journey takes us closer to the Philippines. It is incredible to see our kids' faith grow as well through it all. This last week, another unexpected blessing happened. Both of our boys were baptized as believers, on Sunday, with 4 others from church!! Jake and I have prayed about this for quite some time. When we first heard that there would be another believers baptism at the end of the summer, I said to Jake that it would be so incredibly special if one or both of our boys made the decision to get baptized before we leave for the Philippines. I didn't say anything to the boys, though, because I wanted it to be their decision, not ours, and  I handed it over to God. On the day of the scheduled baptism BOTH boys came to us and said they wanted to be baptized. What an incredible blessing! Not only did they both come to the decision on their own, but also that the 2 brothers were able to share such a special moment together to outwardly express that they are followers of Christ. To God be the glory!

One of the special things about Jake being one of the deacons is that they get to go out into the water to show support when one gets baptized. It is even more special when it is your boys being the ones baptized. What a special night!!
